Critical Rehab

Animal Physiotherapists operate at the intersection between human physical health and animal physical health. The One Health concept is a collaborative, multisectoral, and transdisciplinary approach to achieving optimal health outcomes. Critical Rehab provides a platform for the discussion of emerging evidence in the field of rehab and how it relates to animal patients. 

In our inaugural Critical Rehab Journal Club, we explore the central mechanisms underlying the effects that exercise has on  pain. Importantly, we discuss the practical application of these concepts on our work with our animal patients.
